A fascination with textiles and Oriental design

My exploration into the world of colour and design developed through my career in Phillips and Bonhams Auctioneers in London. I then joined a gallery specialising in antique oriental textiles, before becoming the showroom manager for London-based interior and fabric designer, Robert Kime.

These roles have provided me with a unique lens and sound expertise on the aesthetic, craftsmanship and the provenance of what are incredible works of art and design.

A decade living in Dubai with visits and research in Turkey, India, Lebanon, Iran, Georgia and Armenia expanded my interest and eye in the artistic traditions of the Middle East and neighboring regions.
